Welcome to Pricerite Oil Inc ("Pricerite") and our online website serving residential and commercial heating fuel customers. By using our website and/or placing orders for heating fuel products and services, you agree to our terms and conditions herein. Please read carefully.
The price for your product or service is fixed at the time you place your order and receive your order confirmation. Because heating fuel is a commodity, the retail price may go up or down at any time, including prior to the time you receive your delivery. Your effective price per gallon shall be the price posted at the time you place your order and listed on your order confirmation.
Pricerite Oil Inc provides various online payment options including credit cards, debit cards and electronic checks. When ordering fuel, your account is charged (settled) at the time you place your order. If you choose electronic check as your form of payment you are authorizing Pricerite Oil Inc to debit your bank account for the amount requested. If the electronic check is returned for any reason, a $20 return item fee will be charged to your account. Depending upon your order quantity, the amount charged and any credits are determined as follows:
When the actual delivery quantity is posted (typically next business day), your account is automatically credited for any overpayment. You are only charged for the amount of fuel you actually receive plus any applicable charges.
By using this website and agreeing to the terms on conditions therein, the customer agrees to receive a delivery receipt via email unless they specifically request that the original receipt be left at the location. The electronic email receipt will also serve as the invoice for the services rendered.
Due to the automated and real time nature of the Pricerite order and delivery process, we are unable to cancel orders once the order is confirmed, except as a result of force majeure (see Delivery Timeframe).
Once heating fuel has been delivered into your heating fuel tank it is deemed used and therefore cannot be returned. Heating Fuel can become contaminated the moment it is delivered into your tank and cannot be returned. Refunds will not be issued for fuel once it has been delivered into your heating fuel tank.
Pricerite Oil Inc shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products and/or services listed at an incorrect price, rebate or refund, or containing any other incorrect information or typographical errors. Pricerite Oil Inc shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Pricerite will immediately issue a credit to your account in the amount of the charge.
Pricerite Oil Inc makes every reasonable effort to physically or virtually inspect every heating fuel tank, free of charge, prior to the first delivery. It is, however, the responsibility of each homeowner to maintain a safe heating fuel storage tank. If you have concerns, please contact Pricerite Oil Inc prior to scheduling a delivery. A staff member can be scheduled to check your tank for safety free of charge.
All fuel storage tanks and associated piping must be in safe operating condition and installed in compliance with all local building codes and regulations. Fuel tank "vent alarms" or "whistles" must be in proper operating condition. Pricerite Oil Inc has a strict "No whistle, no delivery" policy. It is in our driver's sole discretion to determine if a delivery can be made in a safe manner.
If multiple tanks are located at the same location, all tanks must be registered and uniquely identified as to the tank locations and fill pipe locations to avoid accidental deliveries.
$30 convenience fee will be added to all deliveries of 50–99 gallons. $79 convenience fee will be added to all deliveries of 1–49 gallons.
$55 Prime and Start fee will be applied if your system requires a restart.
$20 Returned check/electronic check fee if it is returned for any reason.
Although unusual with computerized metering, it may be possible that you will receive more fuel than you ordered. This situation may occur due to a meter malfunction, a delivery error, or a computer error. In any event, you are responsible for the fuel that you receive, including any amount in excess of what you ordered. If you do receive more fuel than you ordered, Pricerite will do its best to make reasonable payment options for the additional fuel delivered.
Pricerite Oil Inc will use its best efforts to deliver within the quoted time frame at the time of order under normal weather conditions. Pricerite Oil Inc does not, however, guarantee delivery will be made within this time frame.
It is possible, although unusual, that weather or operational circumstances may delay a delivery. Should circumstances arise that may delay delivery, Pricerite will use its best efforts to alert you as soon as possible. Pricerite Oil Inc is not responsible for any damages or other expense that should occur due to a delivery delay under these circumstances. Pricerite Oil Inc shall not be responsible for any damage or injury, including but not limited to frozen pipes, damage to heating system, or any personal bodily injury, due to customer running out of fuel prior to delivery.
If Pricerite Oil Inc is rendered unable, wholly or in part, by force majeure to deliver your order, the obligations of Pricerite Oil Inc shall be suspended, but not longer than the continuance of the force majeure. Pricerite shall use all reasonable diligence to remove the force majeure as quickly as possible. The term "force majeure" shall mean an Act of God, strike, lockout, or other industrial disturbance, act of the public enemy, war, blockade, public riot, lightning, fire, storm, flood, explosion, blackout, governmental restraint, unavailability of fuel, equipment failure and any other cause, whether of the kind specifically enumerated above or otherwise, which is not reasonably within the control of Pricerite Oil Inc. If Pricerite is rendered unable to deliver your order, then you may cancel your order by notifying Pricerite by phone, text or email and receiving confirmation of such cancellation from Pricerite Oil Inc.
Customer is responsible for providing clear access, free of any obstruction, to the heating fuel fill pipe. Pricerite Oil Inc has the sole discretion to deem access to the fill pipe unsafe and undeliverable. Pricerite Oil Inc is not obligated or required to make delivery should conditions be deemed obstructed or unsafe.
Customer also agrees to allow Pricerite trucks onto their property for delivery and agrees to hold Pricerite Oil Inc harmless for any and all property damage relating to normal delivery.
Pricerite Oil Inc may refuse to deliver oil to any customer, in their absolute discretion, for any reasoning.
